Ship of Memories is now on Youtube

I am so excited to share that Ship of Memories, the concert created by my collegue and friend Priya Khatri and I, is now on Youtube. Find the video here

January 21st, 2024, we had an afternoon of shared memories through music, celebrating resilience, creativity, and unity; “Ship of Memories” featuring soprano Priya Khatri and mezzo-soprano Delaney Dam at Mount Zion Lutheran Church, in Waterloo. The concert showcased Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, a new string arrangement of Schumann's Mädchenlieder arranged by Delaney Dam, and the premiere of Drew Aarssen's "A Sailing Ship," dedicated to the late Lorin Shalanko who was a respected colleague and coach accompanist to Priya, Delaney, and Drew.

The concert featured talented string musicians Kaitlynn Cook and Kai Rousseau on violin, Hazel Millar on viola, and Leah Mezo-Willingham on cello. With countless hours of preparation, we are excited to present a concert that showcases remarkable talent within our community.
